When is the RSVP deadline?
The closing date for reservations to be the 1st April 25. However if you need more time, please let us know.
Who do I contact if I would like to say something?
Astrid's brother, Bendick will be the MC of the event and if you would like to contribute anything to the evening, please speak to him. His contact details are: bendickswijgman@hotmail.com
What will the weather be like?
The weather in Athens during Spring tends to be in the low twenties. Expect warm and beautiful days, but it may get a bit chilly at night. It's pretty mild at this time of year, but it's a good idea to bring along a jumper or light jacket for the evenings.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Our wedding ceremony is outdoors, however if there are any weather constraints it will be moved indoors.
What should I wear?
We have a moodboard for inspiration but please wear whatever makes you feel good!
What kind of shoes should I wear?
Wear comfortable shoes you can dance in! For the ladies be aware that the reception, dinner and party will take place on grass so consider this when making your shoe choice.
Are kids welcome?
Kids of all ages are welcome. We will have child entertainment on the day to make sure parents can enjoy the ceremony & party!
Can I take photos or videos during the wedding?
We are hosting an unplugged ceremony to ensure the moments are captured professionally and without interruption. We kindly ask that you refrain from using devices until the cocktail hour. Thank you for helping us keep these moments special.
Is there parking at the venue?
There is parking at the venue but we want to highlight that taxi's are affordable. The venue will help you arrange a taxi back to your accomodation when you want to go home or you can book a taxi on Freenow (local app similar to Uber).
How do I get from the ceremony to the reception?
The whole day will be spent at the same location so no need to worry about transportation until you feel you are ready to go home.
Will there be an area where I can leave my bag or other accessories?
There will be an inside area where you can leave your personal belongings. We will be the only ones at the event location, so no danger to loose your stuff.
When will the party end?
The event will accomodate us as long as we can stand and dance!
