How We Met: We crossed paths in Athens at a shipping conference, where Astrid made the first move by inviting Yannis to Latin Dancing that same evening.

Our First Date: It was memorable (and fragrant) at a Korean BBQ spot. Astrid was so caught up in the moment that she left her phone on the table. Anyone who knows her, knows this says a lot. 

Long-Distance Love: From Dubai to Vienna, London to Paris, and Rotterdam in between, we covered a lot of ground to keep our relationship strong. 

 The Double Proposal: In South Africa, Astrid surprised Yannis with a Valentine’s Day proposal—just one day before Yannis had secretly planned to propose himself! His plan was to avoid Valentine’s cheesiness, but Astrid beat him to it.
